Joanne Bell

Write to Thrive

Jo is a teacher, writer and poet who was selected for the Edinburgh International Book Festival’s emerging writing program and whose debut novel was shortlisted for the Agora Books Work in Progress Prize 2019. After years of living with depression and anxiety she founded Write to Thrive, a therapeutic writing program to help people conquer self-criticism and live out the life of their dreams. She lives in Scotland with her dog Hope.

Lauren McMenemy

Society of Ink Slingers & The Content Type

Lauren has been doing the writing thing for a living for more than 20 years. She’s a journalist, copywriter, content strategist, editorial leader and creative coach who also plays with words as a gothic/horror novelist. She is author of the How to be Self(ish) newsletter, an active member of both the London Writers Salon and 26, and on the committee of Arts Network Sutton. She lives in Sutton, south London, with her eccentric English geek husband and diva house bunny named Saunders.
